Inverell hosted the NSW Women’s Golf Medal District playoff .

Players from Glen Innes, Armidale and Guyra joined the Inverell ladies Sandra Williams and Helen Edwards to decide who will represent the New England District Golf Association later this year in Sydney. Each town was allowed one qualifier for yesterday’s playoff in each division.

The winners of Division 1, 2 and 3 were Kay Nash from Armidale, Jenny Western from Armidale and Jennifer Tierney from Guyra. Inverell’s Helen Edwards missed out in Division 2 in a countback.
